LIC is now offering adjustable (eccentric) timing idlers; they've been in use on their own motor builds and current race car for quite some time. These used to be made in house by hand but now are precision CNC machined. These come engraved with LIC on the face, feature strict OEM tolerances, and have a 10mm hex for your socket to hold it in place while you adjust the timing with perfection. Current offering has been tested and proven on the LIC Motorsports Time Attack STi during the 2010 race season.
These especially play a role with heads and/or blocks that have been resurfaced, as well as different thickness head gaskets. These are recommended for any race build you do on a Subaru.
How it all works:
Idler #1: This upper idler when adjusted effects the RIGHT (Passenger side) intake/exhaust cams.
Idler #2: This lower idler when adjusted effects the LEFT (Driver side) intake/exhaust cams.
These parts are designed for longblocks that have been narrowed down from resurfacing the heads during a rebuild or decking the block and/or both. When that process is done it effectively retards the timing, this is because the belt has not changed length and something needs to make up that difference in the slack (the tensioner can only do so much); in a perfect world we would have different length belts to accommodate this. And some will say that's a good reason to use a different thickness headgaskets but its typically never quite close enough.
Likewise if you have different thickness headgaskets, these are perfect in conjunction with that, as the same issue is present (just vice versa, which is a lengthened block). This is what the LIC Motorsports adjustable timing idlers were designed around/for. Although they could be used to advance timing on a OEM spec motor, we only recommend them to bring your cams back into proper alignment.

After 6 months of usage and 2 distinct variations in kits, LIC Motorsports is proud to announce their custom Radiator/Oil Cooler combo packages. These kits are made from the finest materials and with the pros of the likes of NASCAR and IRL. With 2 kits available its been made easy to choose which one suits your needs. Each kit comes with laser etched LICmotorsports on the top of the radiator, all fittings suplied are AN, and both variations are -10 AN male fittings (for the oil cooler).
The first kit also referred to as "v1 Street" is designed for the daily driver who likes to hit the track as a weekend warrior. The radiatior also has a filler neck on the radiator for easy purging of the system and this kit also accomodates the use of stock fans (with minor modifications) or full race fan setup. This kit has been tested on the LIC Motorsports race car and can withstand the rigors of a 550whp Subaru but is intended for moderate to light track use only.
The second kit also referred to as "v2 Race" is designed for race environments only, can be used in conjunction with a higher pressurized cooling system and will hold more fluid capacity than any other aftermarket off the shelf radiator kit on the market currently. This kit is currently in use on the LIC Motorsports race car and has with stood in excess of 110+ degree heat in the Nevada desert.
Lots ask why the need for two variations, well its simple, the "v2 Race" model runs so cool its not appropriate for daily driven cars. All cars need to come up to temperature and this kit is designed to keep temps much cooler, even while in use with a stock thermostat (which the LIC Motorsports race car uses as well). While testing this kit in the Nevada desert with 110+ degree heat, the temps were in check at 190f water and 210f oil. As the car gets pushed for many laps and hard sweepers, the most the system ever saw was 207f water (fans kick on at 205f) and 232f oil.
The system works flawlessly and it's a major reason more and more Time Attack teams are gravitating towards this kit. Its compact with direct drop in fitment, can be purchased in many tiers and has the ability to fit anyone's needs. Fitment is 02-07 Impreza WRX/STi.

Originally only intended for track dedicated cars requiring the additional heat-capacity associated with track driving with high horsepower and substantial available grip, we highly recommend this system for those of you running a high WHP application and DOT or "R" compound tires.
This kit consists of: Brembo GT Monoblock 6 Piston Calipers (Wider Annulus Pad), 72 vein high thermal capacity rotors (350mm x 34mm), and necessary brackets, bolts, and pads of your choice.
I have for sale our Alcon 340mm x 32mm 6 piston BBK. It was desgined on our 2004 STi and is a one off kit and the only one made.
The rotors are virtually new with only 6 Time Attack Events on them (they mic at 31.65mm remaining rotor. Worn out is when the half moons are missing, which = apprx 28mm).
We originally removed this kit b/c we thought it was causing too much front bias with our car/285 tires but we installed another kit (Brembo) which it did the same exact thing....again this is b/c of other issues not related to the brakes. Luckily we got sponsored from Brembo and we will continue to run their product.

With the much anticipated wait for the Fender Flares off the LIC Motorsports Time Attack STi...the good news is they're close to production and are set to be released in the first Quarter of 2010!
When we first went about making these flares we knew they had to be sleek, durable, and ultimately do what we needed them to do; which was fit a unconventional wheel/tire combo. We are pleased to announce that we have compromised nothing with these once one off flares and are set to bring them mainstream.

We have been working very hard to bring the issue of cooling problems to an end with the new age subaru's under track conditions. Introducing a custom LIC Motorsports Radiator/Oil Cooler combo and one unlike you have ever seen before for a Subaru. We have seeked the help of the pro's and will be utilizing NASCAR/INDY CAR technology.

We have been hard at work arranging pistons for our custom applications. This is to include maintaining proper compression ratio when doing a 2.5L short block with 2.0L Heads (aka Hybrid setup). We will let you know how this goes and project having our own LIC Motorsports pistons by end of first quarter of 2010 as well.
