The Underdogs is an episodic journey into the lives of brothers Adam and Noah Levy, owners of LIC Motorsports. Watch as they prepare their race-bred Subaru STi for battle in the Redline Time Attack race series. In each episode, they will stand face to face with teams many times their size and funding. Will they fall behind the competition, or can they accomplish the unthinkable? The odds are against them. They are the underdogs.

LIC is short for Levys' Innovations and Conversions, and is more than just a name. Back in 2002, Adam Levy, owner of LIC Motorsports, was the first person in the USA to take a WRX motor and splice into an Impreza RS while maintaining all emissions controls and producing a 100% California smog legal conversion. This is the same spirit of innovation and dedication that gave birth to LIC Motorsports. The shop, run by Adam and his brother Noah Levy, opened its doors for business in February 2004, utilizing a mere 1500 square feet. Today the shop sits in a 2500 square foot location equipped with state of the art machines and tools, and is known to be one of the most technologically advanced shops in Northern California. Brandon Katcher is a filmmaker, cinematographer, editor and composer. He picked up his first video camera when he was 12 years old. His first film, made for a 6th grade class, was aptly titled, "Attack of the Killer Mutant Worm". He did his first green screen work in 8th grade. Brandon attended the film program at Syracuse University in upstate New York. Since then he has worked on features, shorts, commercials, music videos and live corporate events. His latest film, A Gentle Walk, received awards for feature-length documentary and cinematography. Brandon currently works as a freelance filmmaker in the Bay Area.
