Company Policy

LIC Motorsports takes its customer’s personal information very seriously. We work closely with the credit card processing companies to ensure your transaction(s) are safe and secure.  We do not share, sell or distribute any of your personal information. We do at times send out special promotions to our customers, if you wish to be taken off this list, please feel free to contact us, and you will be removed from this list immediately.   If you reside in California a 9.00% sales tax will be added to the order, even if you order from out of state and desire it to ship within the state of California, this tax will still apply.  Please note that LIC Motorsports only ships to a consumer if the billing/shipping information are the same.  On some rare occasions exceptions can be made for order(s) that ship to a different address but this will require additional time to verify the information presented (this is not limited to a drivers license of the purchaser and receiver); in addition it will require more time and a personal phone conversation prior to anything processing.  Also note that not all orders placed online will ship from our location, although a large stock is kept on hand; at times we will need to drop ship to fullfill order(s) and/or will drop ship if we feel its to the customer's benefit to expedite shipping and fees.


LIC Motorsports does everything it can to ensure a smooth transaction but sometimes this does not always happen.  LIC Motorsports is not responsible for any damages that result during shipping.  If the situation occurs that one of your packages is damaged, please be sure to save all original packaging, and notify us immediately as well as the shipper. If you are worried about the contents of a package, be sure to inspect everything before signing for it.  All orders are insured for the full dollar amount of the order and will arrive signature required.  Any items refused are subject to a 25% restocking fee, if any items are missing, which is not limited to literature and or parts, customer is subject to further fees. 

Shipping options from our store and how item(s) ultimately ship out may change in order to expedite your shipment and/or to save the end consumer money.  Although USPS and FedEx carriers are the only options listed when "Checking Out", LIC Motorsports has the option to change this to a variety of other carriers that we feel fit to process the order in a timely time frame.  Items designated "Pick up at LIC" for in store pick up may still have a fixed dollar amount attached to it, these typically are special ordered items and not regulary stocked on premise. 

Orders placed prior to 2pm (PST) will typically ship out same day.  Any order after this time frame can't be guaranteed to leave premise on same day.  Sometimes further information will be necessary and may delay the order.  If a drop shipment is necessary for fulfilment, this may also delay the order (typically only 24 hrs).  We make every effort to be as efficient as possible and will always do our best to ensure your item(s) ship out ASAP from the time the order was received. 

In addition, often times packages originating from LIC Motorsports and going out for delivery will come in a previously used exterior box/boxes, this is in an effort to keep shipping costs lower for the consumer and try to help the recycling effort for the enviornment.

International Orders

All International orders must be prepaid with a Wire Transfer (aka Bank-to-bank Transfer). International orders cannot be paid for with a credit card, and previous arrangements must be made beforehand. Please contact us via email or phone for all international Inquiries.  DO NOT attempt to order online.

In addition, the shipping charges paid to LIC Motorsports DO NOT include any duties, customs charges, or brokerage fees that may accompany your shipment; all importation fees assessed by local or national governments are the consumer’s responsibility and will not be paid or reimbursed by LIC Motorsports.  If a shipment is refused once it has been received by customs because you will not pay the tariffs or taxes, we will refund you the cost of the product after charging you for the additional fees required to return the package to our company.

Billing Problems

Every card is "Authorized" once the order is placed, this means the funds will be placed in a "Temporary Authorization" state, no funds are captured/collected until your order is confirmed that it can process uninterrupted and/or contact has been made with the customer to advise if  there is a order delay. All orders go through this process (even if the order gets declined or canceled).  Your bank determines how long the "Temporary Authorization" will remain on file but typically its 24-72 hrs.  This way makes it very easy for us to avoid potential billing problems but if you feel like there has been an error, please contact us immediately.

Cancellations of Order

Orders that are not in stock may be cancelled up until the order starts processing. Once an order has begun the Processing stage, a 10% Credit Card surcharge fee will apply. No exceptions will be made for this.  If an item has already shipped and customer wants to return the item(s), that order will be subject to the return policy.  No exceptions.


All items purchased from LIC Motorsports are covered through the manufactures warranty, if any. LIC Motorsports does not offer or assume responsibility for warranties of any products, expressed or implied. If you find yourself in need to warranty a product you have purchased, please contact us first so we can try to help you get the issue resolved quickly. Please note the warranties vary drastically from one company to another, and often times aftermarket parts will not be accompanied with instructions or literature in English.  The installation of some aftermarket parts might void your factory warranty; all products purchased from LIC Motorsports are considered for "Off Road Use Only". It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure use of their vehicle and items purchased comply with federal, state and local regulations.  It is also recommended that you have a certified mechanic install your product(s).  If you feel like you are missing some parts, please be sure to contact us immediately.

Return Policy

If you are having buyers remorse or feel you made an error please contact LIC Motorsports immediately and a representative will assist the best they can to rectify the situation.  There is a 25% restocking fee that applies to all orders that are returned. All returns arrangements must be made within 5 days of Invoice date. There are no returns on any special order items, electronics, or used parts.  All returns must have an approved RMA number, any products that are sent back must have the RMA clearly marked on the exterior of the box, no product will be accepted without one. We are able to take back only items that are new, and still Sealed in Retail Packaging.  Shipping charges are not refundable. It is the customer's responsibility to return the item(s) back to our facility, please get return address info when getting RMA number for your return item(s). We recommend that all packages being sent in for return are insured to the full amount in case of loss or damage.


Once an item is received it will be inspected by LIC Motorsports to comply with LIC Motorsports return policy.  A refund or credit to the customer will be issued how the payment was originally received; only the card used will be allowed to be refunded/credited.  Please note that LIC Motorsports has no control over the card issuer and how long it takes to receive credit back on card.  Contact your card holder for more info.
